Smoothies are a great way to start the day with lots of veggies. That’s why I love to make green smoothies for breakfast. Wouter got me a new smoothie and juices book a couple of weeks ago and one of their juices was made with broccoli. I just bought one so I tried to make a smoothie with it right away! I used what I could find in my fridge and this is what I came up with!
Ingredients for 2 smoothies:
- some broccoli florets, cooked for 4 minutes (I used about 1/4th of a stem)
- a handful of spinach leaves
- juice from 4 oranges
- 1/2 cup mango chunks
- 1 banana
- 1 kiwi
Optional:
- 1 scoop of Body & Fitshop Premium Superfood Mix
Blend everything to a smooth mixture and add a bit of water when it’s to thick.Smoothies are a great way to start the day with lots of veggies.
