Springrolls were on my to make list for quiet a while now, but they always seem te take up a lot of work. So I made it easy for myself and bought almost all the ingredients already chopped and ready to use. I chose to use lots of different colors because it looks cute in your roll and because that way you’ll eat a lot of different vitamins and minerals.
What you need:
- Rice paper
- Some shrimps
- Carrot julienne
- Chopped red cabage
- Avocado, in small cubes
- Spicy sprouts
- Radishes, in thin slices
- Black pepper
- 1 minced garlic clove
- Olive oil
Instructies:
- Cook the shrimp in a little bit of olive oil with the garlic and black pepper until they’re done, let them cool down.
- Soak a rice paper in warm water (I just used hot water from the tap).
- Put the soaked rice paper on a smooth surface and put a little bit of all the ingredients in the center and a little bit towards the top. Fold over the top of the rice paper over the ingredients, do the same with the sides and roll it downwards into a spring roll! This might take some practice, there were also instructions on the package.
- Serve the springrolls with some soy sauce to dip in.
