London Hotspot: Dalloway Terrace

On our first day in London, we were looking for a nice restaurant near to our hotel in Bloomsbury, London’s literary centre. So we looked it up on Trip Adviser and we’ve found this gem. Dalloway Terrace is named after the eponymous character created by Virginia Woolf, an author whose name will forever be associated with Bloomsbury, Dalloway Terrace is an elegant, poetic and quintessentially English space.

So, we dressed up a bit and walked over there and were pleasantly surprised by how this place looks. Super romantic, like you’re sitting in a garden with beautiful lights instead of in a big crowded city. Perfect for our first evening here!

We got ourself a selection of different types of bread and a side of Parmesan truffle fries. As a starter Wouter had Seared tuna, soy & ginger dressing, pickled radish and I had Organic smoked salmon, Guinness bread, lemon both were super tasty and fresh. For our main course Wouter had Dry-aged Aberdeen Angus 6oz Beef fillet and I had Arborio risotto, butternut squash, ginger, goat’s cheese and OMG my risotto was amazing! Wouter said his was really good too, but I didn’t taste it.
We had to try out a dessert as well, duh! Wouter had Lemon Tart with raspberries and I couldn’t resist the Valrhona & pecan nut slice, salted caramel ice cream and yes, they’re we soooo good as well.

So I surely recommend this amazing place if you’re looking for good food, a romantic night out or a cozy evening with friends.
