Oatmeal with poached pears

After I made the poached pears from this recipe, I wanted to do more with them, then just eating them straight from the jar, lol. So I started adding them to my breakfasts! I first ate them with my yogurt and granola, that was really delicious. But I loved them in my oatmeal. Today I wanted to share this oatmeal recipe with you guys!

What you need:

  • 4 tbsp oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 150 ml almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • poached pears (here’s my recipe)
  • 1 tbsp almond flakes
  • Optional: bee pollen

Directions:

  1. Put the oatmeal, flax seeds and almond milk in a pan and heat it over a low fire, keep stirring it until it’s warm.
  2. Put the porridge into a bowl and top it with the poached pears, almonds, cinnamon and bee pollen.
  3. Now just enjoy your breakfast! It’s that easy.
